Responsibilities
Analyze system and software requirements to develop system level test cases and test procedures.
Manually execute test procedures, capture test results, analyze test results, and document issues.
Lead procedure development within a feature collaboration team.
Lead and coordinate project testing.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
US Citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Ability to work on-site and in equipment laboratories; support testing which may occur outside regular business hours; work independently and as part of a team
Exceptional attention to detail, collaboration, spoken, written, and presentation skills
5-7 years' experience analyzing software and hardware requirements for test or implementation in software; analyzing software functionality written in Python, Java, C, C, or other high-level programming languages; and writing test plans, procedures, and test cases for manual test
5-7 years' experience executing different types of manual software tests on agile features; conducting user level system and software troubleshooting; gathering debug information; and performing root cause analysis of issues
5-7 years' experience with large real-time mission critical systems (for example- the Aegis Weapons System); leading procedure development in collaboration with multiple feature engineers; and leading project testing
2 years' experience with Unix/Linux environments; DOORS; ClearQuest; and Jira
Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook); performing work in accordance with policy; and SAFe agile methodology
Preferred
Experience with the following are considered a plus: DDS, NDDS, OpenDDS, or other publish/subscribe architectures
CI/CD and DevSecOps methodologies and tools
Other agile development methodologies
RedHat, RedHawk, Solaris, PowerMax_OS, Client-RT, Client-UX, VxWorks, LynxOS, or other UNIX/Linux operating systems
Jenkins, ClearCase, Git, and Artifactory
Perf, oprofile, or other software profilers
AN-UYK-43 computer operation or CMS-2 software development
Debugging core files using debuggers such as gdb, in particular with C/C executable programs
Certifications in cyber security, software development, test, engineering, or agile
