Responsibilities

Identify, map, measure, analyze, and improve clinical and business processes for assigned Epic application(s)
Prepare documentation for business requirements and translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications
Perform system configuration, develop test plans, and conduct testing to validate performance
Provide client and support training, monitor system functionality, and explain application functioning to users
Develop and maintain product documentation, communicate project status, and manage application upgrades

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
3 years of experience in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping and analysis
Experience in using applications, operating systems, and databases
Project management experience with ability to use project management software
Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred

Certified in Epic Prelude/RTE
Experience in Epic and other Healthcare applications
Demonstrated ability to translate user requirements into system specifications
Understanding of change management practices and procedures
Ability to work closely with health care application users, vendors, and technical professionals
