Responsibilities
Supports customer by converting approved storyboards into online multimedia format for the NATO Learning Management System.
Develops course interactivities using audio, video, and creative techniques.
Converts and archives storyboards into a standard NATO template for e-Learning courses.
Designs course features, interactions, and content in coordination with instructional designer.
Ensures compliance with NATO Brand standards, security policies, and procedures.
Reviews and edits content following principles of graphic design and layout design.
Participates in course development meetings.
Designs mockups for NATO website.
Advises on technical advances in e-Learning technology.
Provides MMD support and quality assurance to course providers.
Teaches graphic design and UI/UX basics at eLearning Design and Development NATO course.
Creates themed graphic materials for conferences.
Designs Learning Management System flow and navigation revamp.
Provides graphic design support to the section.
Prepares translation files for course translation.

Required
A minimum of 3 years' experience (within last 5 years) working in web-based multimedia development for online courses and usage.
A minimum of 3 year's (within last 5) experience using graphical development tools providing examples of work/projects created.
A minimum of 3 years' experience (within last 5) using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and troubleshooting SCORM compliant issues.
Experience in the SCORM standard and subsequent programming and creation of SCORM compliant courses.
Experience working with SCORM standard and the demonstrated ability to design to its structure.
Demonstrate (example screen shots (max 4 per course)) from three courses that have been developed by the multimedia systems designer.
A Bachelors (BS/BA) degree in computer science or graphic design or minimum of five years of vocational training in computer science multimedia or related subjects in the educational domain.
Fluent in English (Written and Oral).
NATO SECRET-level security clearance or active SECRET security clearance issued by a national authority.
