Responsibilities
Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans
Develops content for marketing promotions
Provides art direction for all media including print and digital
Stays current on changes in insurance laws affecting company programs
Prepares proposals for new and renewal business opportunities
Plans and develops advertising and promotion activities
Recommends product positioning and pricing strategy
Ensures effective control of marketing results
Evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy
Coordinates tradeshow booth displays
Monitors competitor products, sales, and marketing activities
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners
Prepares marketing activity reports and presents to executive management
Maintains consistent company image throughout product lines and events
Represents company at trade association meetings
Identifies new target markets and develops engagement plans
Directs product research and development for new programs and services

Required
College degree in marketing required
Five (5) years related experience in insurance sales, affinity programs and/or association programs and services
Experience with association, franchise or restaurant insurance programs a plus
Extensive experience in both property & casualty insurance as well as employer sponsored group benefits
Salesforce or other CRM programs
Proficient in Web design, social media and digital marketing including email marketing
Advanced knowledge of MS Office software and project management software
Considerable knowledge of grammar, punctuation and spelling to prepare and edit major proposals, reports and correspondence
Position requires up to 25% travel to conventions, tradeshows, client meetings, quarterly board meetings and annual meetings
Preferred
Video production and editing experience preferred
