Responsibilities
Provide engineering related design, analysis, and studies for domestic and international projects.
Perform power factor analysis and correction, harmonic modeling and analysis, and grounding analysis.
Conduct short-circuit, protective device coordination, and arc-flash studies.
Interact with customers to gather critical information and review engineering plans.
Design and troubleshoot protective relaying and controls.
Occasionally work with our Field Services team on shut-down, startup, installation, and maintenance projects.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years relevant experience; prefer educational focus in Power Systems studies or Systems Integration.
Self-starter that exhibits a high level of initiative, resourcefulness, and ability to generate creative solutions.
Willingness to take on and complete multiple project assignments quickly and efficiently.
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently from problem statement to solution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with multi-level audiences.
Adaptable, must be willing to remain flexible to accommodate changing business conditions, work requirements and scheduling needs in a rapidly changing environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain clear and accurate documentation.
Must be able to clearly communicate in English via verbal and written methods, and be comfortable doing so directly to customers and co-workers.
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards obtaining a plus. not required.
Preferred to have experience in short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash and power quality studies.
Preferred have experience using SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, EZPower, or other power system modeling software.
Preferred have knowledge of low, medium and high-voltage up to 500 kV.
Preferred knowledge of industrial process control and instrumentation.
Availability for occasional domestic travel a plus.
