Responsibilities

Create AAA quality UI elements, icons, menus, and HUDs that align with the artistic vision.

Assist in building the UI Art implementation pipeline for optimal performance across platforms.

Collaborate with game designers, engineers, and artists for cohesive integration of UI components.

Deliver high-quality UI assets from prototypes to final implementation in the game engine.

Work with in-house and outsourced artists to achieve the UI vision.

Communicate design concepts effectively and iterate based on feedback.

Work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to shipping product features on time.

Find innovative visual solutions to enhance user experience and interface design.

Identify and flag new design patterns or systems to the UI Art Lead.

Utilize industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other UI/UX design applications.

Required

Experience implementing AAA quality UI Art in Unreal Engine 5 or other comparable game engines

Demonstrated ability to create visually stunning and polished UI elements that enhance the overall player experience

Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback and iterating on designs

Work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment; be flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity; contribute to shipping product team features on time and to quality

Ability to tackle design challenges creatively and find innovative visual solutions to enhance the user experience and interface design

Flag new and emerging design patterns or systems to the UI Art Lead
