Responsibilities

Responsible for ongoing analysis and follow up of rejected components, including recommendations for corrective action.

Assist in corrective action resolution.

Perform inspections in the areas of Molding, Returned Materials, and Shipping.

Use precision measuring instruments as required.

Perform dimensional inspections using hand instrumentation, as required.

Perform inspection on manufactured and/or purchased parts, writing reports as required.

Formulate relevant reports of the inspections for Supplier Quality Performance.

Resolve issues resulting from non-conforming inspections with the appropriate supplier or customer.

Determine salvageability of defective items, as assigned.

Must understand and perform all job requirements in compliance with ISO 9001.
