Responsibilities
Exhibits leadership and helps build high-performing teams.
Facilitates daily scrum meetings/ceremonies and monitors progress against sprint commitments.
Actively participates in sprint planning and gains commitment from the team based on team capacity.
Coordinates with members within the team and across teams during grooming sessions.
Coaches team members and ensures understanding and adherence to processes with quality.
Collaborates, communicates dependencies, and builds relationships with other Scrum Masters and Product Owners.
Ensures releases are being deployed on schedule and tracked according to established procedures.
Facilitates the removal of impediments, addresses issues/blockages, and helps minimize disruptions for team members.
Seeks regular input from team members and implements changes to improve efficiency and increase productivity.
Reports the progress and highlights any risks/issues to leadership.
Facilitates large, cross-functional group meetings and planning sessions.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
At least 3 years of Scrum Master experience
SCRUM training/certification preferred
Experience managing team members in different time zones
Prior technology background within the areas of development, testing, or other SDLC experience
Detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication; able to express complex concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing to business partners
Strong relationship-building skills; comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels throughout the business
Good listening skills, with the ability to uncover underlying needs
Must have a desire to achieve excellent project outcomes and exceed stakeholder expectations
Works independently with limited supervision, coordinating assigned tasks to closure
Must have experience working with cross-functional teams
Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies. (Waterfall, Iterative, AGILE)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word required
Preferred
Experience working with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is preferred
Experience with Digital.ai Agility tool or similar tool is preferred
Prior experience supporting business applications is preferred
Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred
