Responsibilities

Enhance and maintain security infrastructure by developing and implementing automated security workflows.

Play a crucial role in incident response processes and threat intelligence integration.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.

Cyber security certifications like CEH, Sec+ are a plus.

Min 5+ years proven experience in Security automation & scripting.

Proven experience working as a Security Automation SOAR Engineer using platforms like Splunk Phantom, Swimlane, etc. or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence concepts.

Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, JavaScript etc.

Excellent understanding of Data structures and Algorithms.

Must be able to come up new logic and custom scripts that run efficiently and accurately.

Familiarity with security technologies and tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, firewalls, vulnerability scanners and ticketing tools like ServiceNow, BMC etc.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Knowledge of cloud security and DevSecOps.

Knowledge of AWS Infra like Docker, containers, Terraform, etc.

Process oriented individual who follows SDLC with thorough testing, documentation, approval, deployment, and maintenance process.
