Responsibilities

Implement social media strategy and develop content for various channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Threads, and TikTok.

Enhance ADWEEK’s editorial stories, podcasts, and marketing materials with captivating copy.

Provide live coverage of ADWEEK’s events on social media platforms.

Manage daily community interactions across all platforms, responding to comments, answering direct messages, and engaging with trending topics.

Monitor key performance metrics across platforms to optimize performance and guide strategic decisions.

Produce organic social content that is educational, humorous, and aligned with the brand.

Required

Experience growing social media pages and engaging with online audiences

Strong copywriting and storytelling skills

Ability to create compelling SEO/social headlines and captivating visuals

Capability of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Familiar with ad agency life

3-5 years of experience running social media for brands or agencies

Strong news judgment and excellent writing and copy-editing skills

An eye for graphic design (Canva)

Experience with social media schedulers and analytics tools preferred (Later, Meta Business Suite, Talkwalker, Sprout Social, Buffer, Tweetdeck, Hootsuite etc.)

Deep understanding of pop culture, memes, and TikTok trends

Experience creating short-form video content
