Responsibilities

The State of Maine Application Development Group is currently looking for high-level Programming staff (PR5) to support mission-critical systems for the Department of Administration and Financial Services.

This role involves the highest technical level in all phases of application systems analysis and design activities.

Key responsibilities include formulating solutions to complex business problems using automation technologies, preparing system design plans, and detailed specifications for application systems development and implementation.

Oversight of daily support activities and other development work may be required, with the work being performed under limited supervision.

Initial tasks will focus on supporting, expanding, and maintaining the DECD Salesforce Grant Management platform and DAFS mission-critical system.

The position will also aim to support, expand, and maintain the DECD Salesforce Grant Management platform to enhance productivity and user experience, as well as assist in supporting and maturing the platform setup and Maine statutory initiatives.

The goal is to mature the footprint, accelerate application implementation, increase efficiency and productivity, improve collaboration and communication, reduce risk, and enhance security best practices.
