Responsibilities
Develop prospective clients through various strategies such as internet research, trade show lists, referrals, and personal investigation
Foster and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means
Grow new business from existing clients by expanding relationships and upselling TransPerfect's portfolio
Creatively problem solve to enhance the new business development strategy
Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients
Educate clients on the translation process, rates, turnaround time justification, and competitors' information
Liaise with production to ensure proper handling of jobs with attention to detail
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with delivery, quality, and service
Understand industries TransPerfect markets to, including industry leaders and current events
Perform other special projects or duties as required
