Responsibilities

Provide technical support to maintenance and operations to improve equipment uptime, capability, reliability, and throughput.

Provide technical oversight of manufacturing equipment and systems.

Have solid knowledge of and experience in applying Engineering Fundamentals in a manufacturing setting.

Spend roughly 70% of their time on the production floor, observing, making recommendations for process improvements and interacting with operators, maintenance, reliability, and operations.

Assess and report safety hazards associated with low to medium voltage equipment.

Possess preferred knowledge and troubleshooting skills of overhead and gantry cranes.

Troubleshoot electrical systems, controls, drives, DC/AC control systems, and 13.8 KV/480 KV power systems.

Perform PLC programming (ex. Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon).

Work with frequency drives, combustion systems, and instrumentation control.

Utilize knowledge of National Electrical Code, including NFPA70E.

Estimate maintenance/project cost and accurate timelines.
