Responsibilities
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including functional analysis, development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment, and support
Develop high-quality and scalable application logic with Apex and SOQL
Create highly interactive UI using Visualforce, JavaScript, and JQuery technologies
Develop custom applications using Salesforce.com and integrate Salesforce.com with other systems
Apply best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed on the Salesforce.com platform
Advocate Salesforce.com usage and mentor junior members of the development team
Partner with stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, and Service to implement and rollout cloud applications
Create and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data
Operate and leverage Agile and Scrum methodologies
Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions, and production issues reported by end users
Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to project management, business analysis, technical analysis, training, mentoring, collaboration, and supporting other technical and business resources

Required
Knowledge of Lightning Framework, Apex, JavaScript, Aura, and Component-based frameworks
Understanding of web development best practices, especially application security
Awareness of the tradeoffs of development on a multi-tenant platform with known limits
Extensive experience with Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds
Ability to collaborate efficiently with business and technical teams
Demonstrated understanding and ability to articulate complex requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred
4+ years of Salesforce application development, including code-based and declarative techniques
Extensive experience with Software Development Life Cycle best practices
A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
Preferred
Salesforce Developer Advanced Certification is preferred
Custom development experience on other platforms (i.e., C#, Java, Python) is preferred
Experience in a Scrum/Agile development environment is preferred
Understanding and experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools is preferred
Willingness to learn and use new technologies is preferred
Experience in a non-profit environment is preferred
