Responsibilities

Collaborate with a team of engineers and managers to create applications used by hotel customers worldwide

Write clean, self-documenting code following best practices and design patterns

Provide creative ideas to improve product and technology

Think beyond ticket specifics to delight customers and drive business growth

Mentor team members and actively participate in code reviews

Advise on technical decisions and demonstrate ability to ship high-quality products

Deal with ambiguity, take initiative, and execute projects with little direction

Required

3+ years of experience

Solid knowledge of developing backend applications

Experience with Javascript and common front-end frameworks such as ReactJS or VueJS

Have a strong demonstrated ability to ship high-quality products

Self-motivated, collaborative, and diligent work ethic

Preferred

Expert in Python with knowledge on at least one industry standard framework like Django, Flask, etc.

Experience using Docker and cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Experience with SQL databases and database design skills
