Responsibilities
Lead the development of novel practical and actionable interventions to slow age-related cognitive decline and prevent dementia, particularly Alzheimer's disease
Imagine and shepherd to fruition highly translational technologies to preserve existing CNS function or repair/restore damaged CNS components
Collaborate with other ICR scientists to leverage company resources and maximize productivity

Required
A PhD with 10+ years of post-graduate experience focused on regenerating lost CNS neurons, repairing damaged CNS neurons or preventing age-related neuronal damage
Extensive knowledge of iPSC (induced pluripotent stem cell)-derived in vitro neuronal models as well as experience with exosomes as therapeutics; additional experience with mixed cell-type culture models is preferred
Experience making iPSC-derived brain organoids for compound screening
Preferred
Hands-on experience with fluorescence microscopy
Experience with mitochondrial energetic assay systems like Seahorse
Knowledge of basic stem cell-derived neuronal-type differentiation pathways
A deep understanding of modern preventive and regenerative CNS medicine
Expertise in Alzheimer's Disease and other neurodegenerative diseases
