Responsibilities

Create and maintain high quality test automation using modern development techniques and support metrics-based decision making.

Apply automated tests at every layer of the application stack, inside and outside the continuous delivery pipeline.

Produce and analyze metrics illustrating application quality and develop insights driving quality engineering direction.

Promptly triage test failures with precision, maintaining build pipeline health.

Collaborate with development, product, operations, and support peers to ensure quality as a key design element.

Engage in code reviews for product, test, and infrastructure code.

Enhance observability to improve application resiliency and robustness.

Customize deployment, migration, security, and performance in the continuous delivery lifecycle.

Lead triage for mean time to resolution, maintaining build pipeline health.

Provide mentorship through code reviews for product, test, and infrastructure code.

Forge partnerships with Development to design and execute effective testing strategies.

Required

8+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, preferably in Computer Science or related field

Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Strong knowledge in related programming languages, operating systems, development tools, procedures, and methodologies applicable to test automation such as Python, Java, JUnit, Playwright, Typescript, Selenium, etc.

Has developed innovative best practice solutions that improve quality engineering across team or divisional boundaries with in healthcare industry

Fluent with REST Interfaces, OpenAPI specs

Proficiency authoring and maintaining Dockerfiles.

Understanding of Kubernetes components and cloud provider offerings.

Familiarity managing container image versions within container registries.

Proficiency building and maintaining CI/CD solutions

Familiarity with CI/CD infrastructure, platform configuration, integration, and secret management.

Fluent in at least one public cloud interface.

Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems

Ability to lead projects and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
