Responsibilities

Analyzing call detail records and other forms of geolocation data, provided by customers, to provide actionable insight to aid in criminal investigations
Leveraging the LexisNexis TraX solution to create reports, and demonstrative aids for investigative and prosecutorial purposes
Providing hands-on case assistance to customers during multi-day instructor-led training classes
Testifying as an expert witness in criminal trials in call detail record and mobile device geolocation analysis
Testing and evaluating new features, products, and processes to support internal and external teams
Communicating complex processes in a simple, easy to understand manner
Preparing for training classes by testing training software and partnering with the Trainer on all class details
Driving a high level of engagement with training attendees
Working directly with the sales team to support product understanding, implementation, and best practices
Maintaining positive customer relationship through detailed analysis of large data sets
Operating professionally and effectively, often without direct supervision, while conducting high-quality analysis, data development, capability briefs, and reach-back support seamlessly across diverse analytic and technical teams

Required

Law enforcement background.
Minimum 4 year's experience in call detail record data analysis
Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, mathematics or related field.
Demonstrated competence in application of logic to problems
Demonstrated competence in research and problem resolution
Strong organizational, prioritizing and time management skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Experience in managing large customer facing solutions
Proficient in Google Earth Pro, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Ability to work as an effective team member and independently
On call as needed for exigent case assistance
Physical and/or logical access to criminal justice information is an essential function of this role. The successful candidate will be required to pass both the standard company background check for all employees and an enhanced criminal background check conducted by the Company's state and local law enforcement partners conducted in compliance with the FBI's Criminal Justice Information System (“CJIS”) security policy. Employees in this role may also be subject to ongoing criminal background checks as required by the Company's state and local law enforcement partners. Candidates and/or employees who are not certified by state and local law enforcement to access criminal justice information will not be able to perform the essential functions of this role. Employees who subsequently fail to obtain or maintain CJIS compliance may be reassigned or terminated.

Preferred

Public Safety and/or regulatory government experience is preferred
Preferred experience in LexisNexis suite of solutions
Periodic travel is required for 50% of the time for on-site training and other events, such as testimony.
