Responsibilities
Crafting comprehensive test procedures.
Proficiently utilizing electrical measurement tools, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Conducting Verification and Validation for corrective changes.
Performing installations, rip-outs, testing, and validation of tactical systems.
Assisting in configuring the lab in accordance with relevant drawings and port maps.
Identifying, analyzing, and documenting software, firmware, and hardware defects and collaborating with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Supporting the Logistics team in the development of installation and operation procedures.
Developing and analyzing test cases while providing regular progress updates.

Required
Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT) or similar (ST, ET, or IT) or Surface Navy experience
Over 5 years of experience with AN/BYG-1, AN/BQQ-10, AN/BLQ-10, or Submarine Weapon Launchers, or comparable combat systems.
Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience).
Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred
Proficiency in software testing and analysis.
5-10 years of experience with Navy AN/BYG-1, AN/BQQ-10, AN/BLQ-10 or Submarine Weapon Launchers
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
General knowledge of network configurations, operations, and commands.
Some travel required (in support of test events in government labs, as well as shipboard installations in domestic and international locations).
