Responsibilities
Reviews, analyzes, and approves architectural and engineering plans for healthcare facilities
Provides technical engineering assistance and consultation (internally & externally)
Reviews reports, memoranda, architectural and engineering plans, for completeness, accuracy and content.

Required
Knowledge of principles and practices of civil engineering.
Knowledge of terminology and standard abbreviations used in civil engineering
Ability to analyze and determine applicability of civil engineering data, to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as plans, specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
Preferred
Knowledge of principles and practices of civil engineering: This foundational knowledge is essential for understanding the field and its applications.
Terminology and standard abbreviations: Familiarity with common terms and abbreviations used in civil engineering is crucial for effective communication.
Analytical skills: The ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make informed recommendations is a key competency.

Local building codes/regulations: Understanding local regulations ensures compliance and safety in civil engineering projects.

Independence and virtual communication: The ability to work independently and communicate effectively via phone or virtual platforms is important.
Healthcare facility experience (highly desired): Prior involvement in construction or maintenance of healthcare facilities is a valuable asset.
