Responsibilities
Utilizing the Scheduler system to analyze daily hospital staffing numbers and determine staff shortages
Scheduling permanent and on-call staff for all shifts as vacancies occur
Assigning overtime staff as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement
Collaborating with nursing and security supervisors to maintain adequate staffing levels
Conducting research on root cause analysis related to overtime and unscheduled leave use
Analyzing management problems like overtime and unscheduled leave use

Required
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience analyzing information and generating reports for management
Preferred
Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment with multiple priorities
Skilled in using Microsoft Office products, such as Word and Excel
Experience with an electronic scheduling system
Great attention to detail
