Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
Hands-on Coding: Engage in coding and architecture discussions, providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines
Team Development: Support the professional growth of team members through coaching, performance management, and skill development initiatives
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, QA, and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet customer needs
Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, evaluating new technologies and tools that could improve development efficiency and product quality
Process Improvement: Implement best practices and processes to optimize team productivity, code quality, and deployment strategies
Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as needed

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
Proven experience (5+ years) in software development with a strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and Azure
Prior experience (3+ years) in a leadership or management role, preferably in a smaller company/startup environment
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
Hands-on coding experience with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
