Responsibilities

Implement solutions for Procore's ecosystem, including the App Marketplace, App Framework, and Developer Portal systems

Collaborate with team members to ship code for Rails backend and React frontend

Design and build solutions in collaboration with Engineering, Product, and UX teams

Mentor junior engineers and participate in system design aligned with Procore’s technical vision

Anticipate and solve technical problems, document solutions, and drive innovation in web development

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience

5+ years experience in Object-Oriented Program fundamentals, Test Driven Development and Design principles (React, Ruby on Rails, Java)

Strong front end experience working with JavaScript frameworks is a must

Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in SaaS environments

Track record of anticipating technical problems that will fall out of major projects and designing solutions to overcome those problems

Strong experience documenting and bringing team clarity to complex solutions

Time-honed expertise with modern web development across the entire spectrum of development, testing, staging, deploying, and monitoring

A curious mind that is driven to innovate and solve customer problems
