Responsibilities

Performing routine installations and maintenance of desktop operating systems, business applications, hardware, peripherals, and printers.

Working on complex technical IT assignments under limited guidance.

Providing IT support and problem-solving using desktop IT skills.

Installing, maintaining, and administering desktop computer systems and peripherals.

Detecting, diagnosing, and resolving desktop computer software and hardware failures.

Providing users with guidance on desktop and portable computer hardware and software usage.

Analyzing customer service requests and offering technical solutions.

Conducting IT audits and preparing progress/status reports.

Utilizing trouble-ticketing software and documenting areas for process improvements.

Communicating with users through various channels.

Preparing equipment for reuse or surplus actions.

Providing technical support for remote locations and performing software/hardware upgrades and installations.

Coordinating IT equipment disassembly and reinstallation for office relocations.

Required

Bachelor's degree in discipline with one-year experience or equivalent with five years of experience

IT Certifications applicable to desktop and mobile computer support desired

Experience providing excellent customer service

Demonstrated proficiency working independently to provide service

Demonstrated leadership skills

Ability to lift up to 50lbs, must be physically able to walk, squat, bend, twist, lift, crawl under desks, reach, carry items, push and pull carts loaded with equipment
