Responsibilities

Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to determine best practices in achieving Facilities Management strategic goals.
Develop conceptual designs for facility renovation and Strategic Plans.
Contribute to long-range planning and evaluation of facilities management operations.
Monitor and evaluate performance of executed work, recommend corrective actions.
Serve as project manager throughout the project life cycle.
Serve as project executive or contracting officer representative for critical and complex engineering projects.
Collaborate and effectively communicate with stakeholders internal and external.
Effectively communicate priorities and messages through technical writing, briefings, and presentations.
Provide guidance to and coordinate with managers and external consultants.
Collaborate with internal engineering division and skilled trades for constructible and operable solutions.
Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and theories in relevant engineering fields.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

Degree: Engineering with at least one program accredited by ABET
Thorough knowledge of physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering
Good understanding of engineering sciences and techniques
Professional registration or licensure as Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE)
Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences
Experience with Autodesk Revit, CAD, statistical analysis, and data visualization software (e.g., PowerBI, MATLAB, Origin, Minitab)
Understanding of data models, databases, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), building information modeling BIM dimensions (3D, 4D, 5D), photogrammetry, and remote sensing
Intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Office products (365, Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
At least one year of specialized experience at a level equivalent to PG-12 grade level in the Federal Service
U.S. Citizenship
Successful completion of pre-employment checks
Registration for Selective Service if applicable
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
Shift work required
