Responsibilities

Define, monitor, and analyze UX KPIs to make data-driven and user-centric enhancements.

Perform user research including usability testing and user interviews/ surveys, to gather insights that inform design decisions.

Develop and execute a UX design strategy that enhances the overall user experience, aligning with business objectives while ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.

Stay up to date with the latest UX/UI trends, accessibility and compliance standards and best-practices, design technologies, and proactively apply this knowledge to create innovative enhancements.

Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.

Partner with the Brand and Creative teams to ensure brand consistency across digital touchpoints.

Build scalable, sound and modern solutions with a deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, site architecture and performance.

Present design concepts and strategies effectively to key stakeholders, demonstrating strong executive presence.

Oversee project management as it relates to key design inputs with external development agency and internal resources

Provide guidance and support to the Junior UX Designer, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Required

Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design or a related field.

Minimum 5-7 years in UX design in the ecommerce industry, preferably with luxury and multi-channel brands.

Nuanced understanding of ecommerce, customer journeys and industry trends and best practices.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret user data for actionable design improvements.

Articulate written and verbal communicator with a point of view that can communicate with executives and non-creative team members. Strong leadership and mentorship background, fostering a creative and collaborative working environment.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design work.
