Responsibilities

Oversee the development and implementation of personalized behavior support plans and engaging curricula.

Assist participants with disabilities in personal hygiene, social skills, communication, safety, and leisure activities.

Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

Train and assist individuals in the program with various life skills to promote independence.

Required

1+ years of work experience with individuals with disabilities (experience with challenging behaviors will be given preference)

1+ years of supervisory experience in a work setting, consisting of interviewing and hiring staff, monitoring and evaluating performance, staff training and development, staff discipline, and scheduling

Experience with various forms of art

18+ years old

Personal, reliable transportation

Valid driver's license, car insurance, and clean driving record

Willingness to drive large program buses and vans, and to train new employees to drive large vehicles
