Responsibilities
Work independently and collaboratively with SSL leadership to set the product line’s vision, develop a strategic multi-channel launch, and execute a growth plan of high-impact strategies that promote profitable growth for the product and services.
Collaborate with product developers and educators on the creation of product components for teachers, students, administrators, and parents, including print and digital resources. Ensure the content is engaging, culturally relevant, and accessible to diverse learners.
Collaborate with product developers and educators on the creation, training and delivery of high-quality learning content and resources for educators, including workshops, webinars, online courses, institutes, and other learning materials.
Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of professional learning content and delivery and utilize data and feedback to continuously evaluate and improve the impact of the content and services and determine future PL offerings.
Collaborate with leadership to develop a vision for internal professional learning on products, services, and the market. Design and execute learning roadmaps that address the evolving needs of team members related to products and services, as well as support career development.
Identify, implement, and manage tools and resources that support the sales organization in their day-to-day activities, including product knowledge training, consultation with educators, positioning professional learning in pre- and post-sale activities, and supporting RFP submissions.
Partner with practicing educators, subject matter experts, and external vendors to align product and professional learning initiatives that support business needs and priorities.
Develop and manage budgets, including allocation of resources for product design and development, technology investments, vendor contracts, special events and other related expenses. Ensure efficient use of resources while maximizing the impact of product initiatives.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in education or marketing preferred, especially in K-12 Science education/NGSS
Eight to 10 years of successful experience developing and delivering professional learning for K-12 educators, teachers and administrators, on implementation of science instructional materials.
Experience in publishing print and digital products and resources for educators, especially for high school science market
At least three years of experience managing people in a servant-leader environment
Preferred
Strong computer skills including SalesForce, Microsoft Office Suite, and CMS and LMS systems
Strong background in educational training/professional development models
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
