Responsibilities

Develop design strategies for new construction projects and renovation of existing building interiors.

Provide architectural and space planning solutions including preparation of architectural drawings.

Review design intent drawings.

Coordinate project team for finished plans, specifications, and material selection.

Produce AutoCAD construction drawings and support functions to meet project design goals.

Collaborate with project team members to ensure compliance with various requirements.

Gather project requirements, build estimates, develop schedules, and execute projects.

Develop project briefings and presentations for senior management.

Maintain and organize project files, invoices, estimates, and vendor information.

Investigate and resolve facility construction and renovation issues.

Coordinate facility planning requirements like IT, Security, furniture procurement, and construction.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.

5 years of related experience with furniture procurement and installation.

Experience working as a contractor for federal agencies, specifically the Department of Homeland Security.

Knowledge/experience with various planning concepts, such as office hoteling, desk sharing, and team sharing areas.

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Familiarity with MS Project.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Ability to obtain and hold a Background Investigation.

Preferred

PMP Certification desired.
