Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage security solutions in AWS environments to protect cloud infrastructure, applications, and data.
Develop and maintain automated security testing and monitoring processes within CI/CD pipelines.
Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and remediate security issues.
Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools for security processes.
Monitor and respond to security incidents, providing timely and effective resolution.
Develop and maintain documentation for security configurations, processes, and incident response procedures.
Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for cloud security and DevSecOps methodologies.
Stay updated on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies to continuously improve the firm's security posture.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
5+ years of experience in a DevSecOps role, with a focus on AWS cloud environments.
Strong understanding of AWS services, including but not limited to IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and CloudTrail.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, with a strong understanding of code and its applications in security automation.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
Solid understanding of security concepts, including identity and access management, encryption, network security, and vulnerability management.
Hands-on experience with security tools such as AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, and WAF.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CISSP, or CISM.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
