Responsibilities
Manage, mentor, and lead a team of competitive intelligence professionals.
Understand the broader healthcare ecosystem to strategically position competitive benchmarking projects.
Conduct thorough analysis of competitive activity across traditional and emerging competitors.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of macroeconomic, regulatory, and market-specific competitive activity.
Monitor emerging payor, transaction, and network activity to develop market and competitive assessments.
Host meetings with executive and senior leadership to disseminate analysis and understanding of data.
Establish collaborative business partner relationships and respond to requests for competitive intelligence projects.
Develop clear, concise, and well-organized written communications with consultant-like quality.
Demonstrate subject matter expertise around key competitors and market segments.
Serve as budget coordinator for competitive insights and maintain relationships with key vendors.

Required
Experience in health care, including direct experience in product management, performance, underwriting, financial analysis, and/or competitive intelligence
8+ years related work experience
3+ years direct supervisory/management experience
Bachelor's degree required or additional related work experience
Proven leadership and supervisory experience with excellent interpersonal skills
Track record in delivering results, while anticipating market and product changes based on market research
Preferred
Master’s degree
Solid understanding of various aspects of the health insurance industry, including funding mechanisms and key strategies to enable winning in local markets (e.g., clinical asset ownership, TPA product strategies, etc.)
Previous experience in providing tactical support to business leaders to ensure success in go-to-market strategies, including direct experience in a managed care competitive intelligence leadership role
Experience associated with one or more of the following health care sub-sectors: Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Health Care Services, Clinical Assets, Behavioral Health, In-Home Care
