Responsibilities
Work with various data analysts and stakeholders to define requirements for data pipelines and analytics projects
Maintain a standardized set of data sources available to analysts through Tableau Server and the Research data warehouse
Design and build reliable data pipelines to make data from multiple sources accessible for analysis
Become an expert on available data and manage the team's knowledge base around Lexia databases

Required
2+ years of hand-on experience in a data engineering or data analytics role
Experience in writing complex SQL queries to extract data from relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Redshift)
Expertise in designing and maintaining ETL pipelines to integrate large volumes of data from various sources (e.g., mySQL, SQL Server, S3, DocDB, Opensearch)
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred
Experience with AWS
Experience configuring MySQL and/or Amazon Redshift databases
Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, etc.
Experience with APIs and the ability to research and integrate with custom internal and third-party APIs
