Responsibilities
Prepares, edits, and proofreads various legal documents such as correspondence, agreements, and pleadings.
Manages complex document production including Bates Stamping.
Drafts simple pleadings and correspondence.
Prepares court filings and files documents with various courts.
Creates Table of Contents and Table of Authorities with accuracy.
Handles outgoing and incoming mail/FedEx for attorneys.
Maintains calendars, schedules meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
Assists with trial preparation by creating trial notebooks and coordinating trial copy jobs.
Answers telephones, takes detailed messages, and interacts with clients and outside counsel.
Performs other duties as needed to support firm and office operations.

Required
Previous law firm experience (2+ years)
Litigation experience
Exceptional organization skills
Excellent writing and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
Teamwork oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Knowledge of legal terminology and principles
Ability to analyze legal documents and ensure accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion with limited guidance
