Responsibilities
Assist in evaluating Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ensuring local processes alignment.
Revise QMS to maintain ISO 9001 bases systems.
Conduct research on regulatory requirements and lead efforts in meeting them.
Assure compliance with customer quality systems requirements.
Identify training needs, develop programs, and assess effectiveness.
Integrate quality systems elements such as process control and testing procedures.
Statistically analyze quality data for continuous improvement.
Investigate root causes and corrective actions for customer complaints.
Travel to conduct internal and external quality systems audits.
Conduct quality training and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Comply with safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required
Recognized academic or professional qualification and should be able to demonstrate strong experience in quality assurance and process improvement
Experience in the plastics industry preferred (injection molding, SBM, EBM) (PET, HDPE)
Experience with manual and automated inspection tools (calipers, micrometers)
Demonstrated ability to achieve production goals in terms of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
Industry experience in a quality-related role
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and other accreditation
ASQ Quality Engineering Certification
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to communicate and apply the seven tools of quality and other methods used to drive improvement
Ability to create, interpret and train Statistical Process Control Charting
Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, quality systems, and standards
Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, including health and safety
Demonstrate proficiency in computer systems – Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Minitab, InfinityQS
Preferred
Experience in the plastics industry preferred (injection molding, SBM, EBM) (PET, HDPE)
