Responsibilities
Deploy and migrate systems for infrastructure (IaaS), platform (PaaS), and software (SaaS) environments.
Manage private or public cloud environments.
Maintain system administration (Linux/Unix or Windows) at the command-line level.
Run and maintain scripting (PowerShell, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
Utilize templates and other configurable items to enable automation.
Work on container management.
Collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
Handle network administration, networking in the cloud, storage, and archiving in the cloud.
Implement security, identity, and access management best practices.
Design and secure Infrastructure as Code.
Monitor and tune performance, automate infrastructure, and manage resource consumption in the cloud.
Utilize high-level programming languages (C#, Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, etc.).
Follow cloud security best practices.
Understand relational and non-relational databases.
Be familiar with the software development lifecycle and multi-tier architectures.
Use messaging and queuing services.
Preferred experience with data management.

Required
Minimum five (5) years’ private or public cloud management experience.
Working technical knowledge of in-house network, server, and platform operating systems.
Strong experience with system administration (Linux/Unix or Windows) at the command-line level.
Strong experience with running and maintaining scripting [PowerShell, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, etc.].
Experience with templates and other configurable items to enable automation.
Experience with container management.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Strong knowledge of network administration, networking in the cloud, Storage and archiving in the cloud.
Working knowledge of security, identity, and access management: IAM in the cloud, deploying workload in the cloud, workload monitoring in the cloud, managing resource consumption in the cloud, configuration management in the cloud, workload automation in the cloud, design of self-healing and fault-tolerant services.
Infrastructure as Code: design and security, configuration management, integration, deployment, performance monitoring and tuning, automation of infrastructure.
Working knowledge of one or more high-level programming languages (C#, Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, etc.).
Understanding of cloud security best practices.
Basic understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
Familiarity with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, storage, databases, and networking. Familiarity with deployment techniques (and tools) in a distributed environment.
Familiarity with messaging and queuing services.
Preferred
Experience with data management preferred.
