Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership in Data space.
Lead the effort to build, implement, and support the data infrastructure.
Manage a team of 2 data engineers.
Own the majority of the deliverables for the Data team.
Develop and test architectures for data extraction and transformation.
Analyze and confirm the integrity of source data.
Lead the development of data-driven solutions.
Develop and maintain predictive models.
Ensure data quality and integrity in modeling.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on best practices.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in data science.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data-driven solutions with business objectives.

Required

Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.
5+ years of full-time hands-on Data Science experience.
3+ years of full-time hands-on SQL experience.
3+ years of full-time hands-on Python experience.
1+ year of full-time hands-on Data Engineering experience.
1+ year of full-time hands-on RedShift experience.
1+ year of full-time hands-on AWS Glue experience.
1+ year of full-time hands-on AWS Lambda experience.
1+ year of full-time hands-on Tech Lead experience.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R and SAS.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, MixPanel, and Google Looker.
Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms.
Knowledge of data engineering and data warehousing concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and lead projects from ideation to implementation.
Experience mentoring junior data scientists and guiding best practices in modeling and analysis.

Preferred

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience building ML Models for new Product Features & Fraud.
Experience with Open Source Data Visualization tools.
Experience with Databricks, and Reverse ETL.
