Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain SQL databases with respect to access methods, batch processes, security, and documentation.
Perform day-to-day administration and maintenance of transactional databases.
Confer with appropriate managers regarding problems with and capabilities of databases.

Required
5 years experience as a SQL Server DBA along with a BS Degree (9 years total exp without a degree)
1+ years of Facets application on MS SQLServer databases
Expert in SQL, including performance tuning
Full knowledge of MS SQLServer, including advanced functions and features (not just GUI point and click)
Ability to communicate effectively with analysts, developers, tests, and project managers in both oral and written form
Advanced knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) is required
