Responsibilities
Responsible for performing various maintenance services under the direction of the Foreman.
Operates, maintains, and repairs systems providing services such as heat, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and electricity.
Observes and interprets readings on gauges, meters, and charts, adjusting controls for safe and efficient operation.
Installs, services, and repairs environmental-control systems in buildings, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory and pipefitting.
Connects motors, compressors, controls, and fans to control panels and power sources.
Diagnoses and repairs mechanical and plumbing equipment, including lab support equipment.
Performs repairs to plumbing systems, pumps, air compressors, and mechanical items.

Required
High school diploma
New Jersey Master HVACR Contractor License issued by the Division of Consumer Affairs
New Jersey Low Pressure Boiler License
HVAC CFC Certification
Minimum three (3) years of mechanical and electrical maintenance helper experience within past three (3) years
Preferred
Completion of technical school or comparable training such as military and industry programs
