Responsibilities

Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document the steps the application uses with data.

Write complex T-SQL queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database.

Develop processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data.

Perform data profiling, mapping, manipulation, validation, and analysis.

Work with source control technologies such as TFS/Azure DevOps, or GIT.

Document and perform unit testing to support program changes.

Create, update, and maintain documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams.

Collaborate with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios.

Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis.

Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes.

PowerBuilder Developer - Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document the steps the application uses with data. - Current experience 5

T-SQL Query Writing - Resource must have a high level of SQL query writing skills to write complex queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database 10 Years

Must have experience developing processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data 10 Years

Data Management - Must have experience in performing data profiling, data mapping, data manipulation, validation, and analysis 10 Years

Source Control - Must have experience working with source control technologies such as TFS/Azure DevOps, or GIT 5

Unit Testing - Must have experience documenting and performing unit testing to support program changes 10 Years

Documentation - Must have experience creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams 10 Years

Testing - Must be able to work with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios 5 Years

Production Support - Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis 5 years

Change Management - Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes 5 Years

Some college preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline
