Responsibilities

Create satisfying, compelling user experiences for product platforms based on user research and workflow analysis.

Monitor and ensure appealing and user-friendly websites, software programs, and product platforms.

Assist in designing new experiences and enhancing existing ones through detailed user-interface specifications.

Plan future design strategies, iterate on design solutions, and advocate for user-centric design.

Produce high-quality design solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the production cycle.

Educate the team on user-centered design and research methodologies.

Gather user feedback, conduct user interviews, and perform usability tests to optimize user experience.

Maintain awareness of competitor product platforms and industry trends.

Understand product platform specifications, user psychology, and storytelling techniques.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree

5+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role

A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions

Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environment working as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs

Familiarity with wireframing software such as Figma, Uizard, Microsoft® Visio, Adobe® InDesign or Axure

Familiarity with design programs and tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and InVision

Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design

Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
