Responsibilities

Develop and administer security processes and procedures for interacting with the blockchain (CeFi, Defi, custodial wallets)

Define and refine policy and procedures around blockchain security such as key or wallet management specifically in compliance with local regulations and best practices.

Ensure compliance of the policy and processes on various teams.

Develop and manage incident response on the Firm’s blockchain stacks.

Manage blockchain security monitoring tools globally, including 24/7 monitoring

Oversee ad-hoc security projects as required

Update and enforce infosec policies and procedures

Identify and resolve vulnerabilities

Work with internal and external stakeholders to promote and adopt best practices

Setup & manage security frameworks (eg, ISO27001 or SOC 2)

Respond to due diligence requests

Required

Minimum 7 years of working experience (ideally several years in the blockchain industry). Bonus if you have a background in the Financial Services Sector or similar regulated institutions

Worked at a medium to large sized firm in the crypto or cyber security industry

Strong knowledge of security best practices and standards

Experience in security of key or wallet management and network security

Experience in using automated security analysis tools and testing tools

Familiar and comfortable to perform source code reviews focusing on security matters

Experience in assessing blockchain consensus and protocols

Understanding and hands-on experience in DeFi ecosystems

Understanding Ethereum Virtual Machines (EVM), Layer 2 solutions and cross-chain bridging

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
