Responsibilities
Perform complex technical and operational IT support work and systems administration, organize and prioritize work assignments, and mentor subordinate staff.
Install, administer, maintain and upgrade operating systems and hardware, monitor and enhance computers of distinctive platforms, and provide technical assistance to users.
Conduct help desk functions, provide technical support for various devices using centralized management solutions, and conduct application installation and problem resolution.
Research hardware and software technologies, prepare specifications, purchase necessary hardware and software, and perform data center operational activities.
Monitor job executions, analyze changes in operating systems, perform work related to cybersecurity and disaster recovery, and coordinate user training.

Required
Experience in technical support activities and system administration
Experience in installing, enhancing, and maintaining computers and peripherals
Ability to troubleshoot network and computer operation issues
Experience in providing user training and establishing data and access protection processes
Knowledge of integrating hardware, operating systems, and program applications
Experience in installing, administering, maintaining, and upgrading operating systems (MacOS, iOS, MS Windows)
Experience in installing, configuring, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware and peripherals
Experience in installing and enhancing applications running on MacOS, iOS, and MS Windows
Ability to monitor, operate, and enhance computers in various environments
Experience in providing technical assistance to users and communicating effectively with technical staff and faculty
Experience in performing help desk functions for complex problems
Experience in technical and operational support for MacOS, iOS, and MS Windows devices using centralized end-point management solutions
Ability to conduct application installation, patching, updates, removal, and problem resolution
Knowledge of researching hardware and software technologies and preparing specifications
Experience in performing data center operational activities
Experience in monitoring scheduled job executions on multiple computer platforms
Experience in analyzing, researching, and testing changes in operating systems and system software
Experience in work related to cybersecurity and disaster recovery
Ability to assess and coordinate user training
