Responsibilities
Oversee the assembly process to ensure products are built efficiently and to high quality standards.
Lead and motivate a team of assembly workers to meet production targets and deadlines.
Implement and maintain safety protocols in the assembly area.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
Train new team members on assembly procedures and safety guidelines.

Required
Experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment
Experience in a mechanical assembly environment
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills
Ability to motivate and lead a team
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Preferred
Experience in the aerospace or defence industry
Experience with lean manufacturing principles
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
