Responsibilities

Develop new architectures for modeling multimodal data and study their interactions with text-only models at scale.

Work on infrastructure projects like complex multimodal reinforcement learning environments, high-performance RPC servers, and sandboxing infrastructure for secure data collection.

Develop tooling to collect, process, and clean multimodal data at scale to run simple experiments at a large scale.

Required

Significant software engineering experience

Results-oriented, with a bias towards flexibility and impact

Ability to pick up slack, even if it goes outside your job description

Experience with pair programming

Interest in learning more about machine learning research

Experience with high performance, large-scale ML systems

Knowledge of GPUs, Kubernetes, Pytorch, or OS internals

Experience in language modeling with transformers
