Responsibilities

Define and recommend technical approaches to assigned projects

Provide cost benefit analysis for equipment definition and purchase

Plan ergonomic features of work stations/jobs

Provide industrial engineering support to project teams

Prepare detailed layouts of facilities using Industrial Engineering/ergonomics principles

Revise job evaluations as needed

Design and perform work measurement projects

Develop Normal Cost data

Perform Make vs. Buy analysis

Prepare CAR models for projects

Perform time studies and other engineering studies

Stay updated on technology developments and recommend adoption of innovations

Generate and evaluate engineering information for projects

Provide engineering advice on processes and procedures

Prepare reports and recommendations to supervisors

Maintain records and files

Prepare Technology Transfer documentation

Assist technicians, skilled trades, engineers, and co-workers in meeting objectives

Participate in safety program and provide training in work force

Comply with safety standards and regulations
