Responsibilities
Coordinate IT project activities including planning, monitoring, and status reporting.
Develop project plans, work plans, time schedules, and communication plans to meet project objectives.
Identify and manage project dependencies, critical paths, and track project milestones and deliverables.
Request necessary resources and participants to achieve project goals.
Compile formal business documentation related to a regulated industry through technical writing.
Utilize MS Project to track coordination task progress.

Required
4-7 years experience in developing scope, cost estimates, work plans, time schedules, and communication plans, and making work assignments to meet project objectives
4-7 years experience in developing information technology project plans and associated communications documents, identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths, and track and report on project milestones and deliverables
Request the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and, where required, from other department managers
Technical writing experience compiling formal business documentation around a regulated industry
Experience using MS Project to track coordination task progress
Preferred
Experience working at an Electric Utility or other municipality
