Responsibilities
Develop intuitive and efficient “mission control” interfaces for SOC and customers.
Improve the performance and reliability of real-time video chat platform and backend APIs.
Develop infrastructure deployment and replication models for AI-enabled edge devices.
Scale backend systems to support an expanding fleet of edge devices, customers, and internal human operators.
Critically assess and address cloud infrastructure security risks.
Lead by example, establishing and maintaining best practices in frontend and backend development.
Lead design reviews and gather input from multiple teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Tackle challenging interdisciplinary problems within the deep tech stack.
Engage closely with SOC to understand workflows and address pain points.
Deploy changes with immediate impacts on the product worldwide.

Required
Must be located in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, IL, MD, MA, NY, OH, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA
Demonstrated expertise in both frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript) and backend (Python) development
Hands-on experience with React, Redux, GraphQL, Django, or similar frameworks
Experience with backend resilience, stability, and site reliability engineering (SRE) improvements
Passionate about delivering high-quality products that exceed user expectations
Eager to work with, mentor, and learn from peers through code reviews, design documents, and pair programming
Enthusiastic about diving into different areas of technology and problem-solving
4+ years of industry experience in full stack development
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Experience leading teams or managing projects
Experience with AI, including generative AI technologies
Knowledge of distributed systems and running hardware at the edge
Experience with performance improvements of databases and APIs
Familiarity with the Nix package manager and its ecosystem
Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
Hands-on experience with AWS and DevOps practices
Expertise in networking and security protocols
Experience with WebRTC or WebSockets
Exposure to robotics platforms or IoT devices
