Responsibilities
Collaborate with Technology and Digital teams to define project requirements and develop software solutions for television platforms
Design and implement interactive user interfaces for television applications using modern technologies
Implement features like localized weather and news to enhance viewer experience
Optimize performance, reliability, scalability, and security of software across devices and platforms
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in television technology
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning for continuous improvement

Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in computer science or other software development-related fields
Strong proficiency with vanilla JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React.js, AngularJS, or Vue.js
Experience with user interface and controls for presenting video, graphics, and other engaging media content
Experience working with data formats such as XML, RSS, and JSON for integrating and managing content
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and data structures
Experience using REST-based APIs for integrating and managing data and services
Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a small team to achieve project goals
Preferred
Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) for cloud computing, including services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda is a plus, but not mandatory
