Responsibilities
Control System Development: Develop, design, and implement control systems and strategies to enhance industrial processes' performance and reliability. Apply industry best practices and methodologies to design efficient control schemes.
Lead discovery investigate efforts in the field for scoping and engineering of a project.
Participate in developing logic diagrams, cause & effect matrices, and functional narratives.
Participate in developing and reviewing control panel design packages, field wiring diagrams, conduit & cable schedules, and associated E&I package deliverables.
Attend field verification and user requirements gathering walk-downs.
Develop DCS or PLC Logic and Graphics applications compliant with customer/company specifications and applicable industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, project managers, and operations personnel, to develop engineering solutions for projects.
Support the project manager with project control activities, i.e., schedule, reports, client meetings.
Execute factory acceptance testing.
Execute field start-up and commissioning, including support of troubleshooting activities.

Required
5+ years experience as a Control Systems Engineer, with a strong focus on Honeywell DCS and Allen Bradley PLC.
BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or a related field An advanced degree or certification in Control Systems or Process Automation is a plus.
Honeywell DCS Expertise: Proficiency in working with Honeywell DCS platforms, such as Experion PKS or TDC 3000. In-depth knowledge of configuring controllers, programming logic, and setting up regulatory control loops.
Programming Skills: Solid programming skills in languages commonly used in control systems, such as ladder logic, Function Block Diagrams (FBD), and Structured Text (ST).
System Integration: Experience integrating control systems with various hardware components, such as sensors, actuators, and PLCs. Knowledge of communication protocols like Modbus, OPC, or Ethernet/IP.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex control system issues. Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and optimize control strategies for improved performance.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and end-users. Strong documentation skills to create clear and concise technical reports and guidelines.
Adaptability and Initiative: Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and explore new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred
Familiarity with other platforms is a plus (i.e. Honeywell Safety Manager & Triconex.)
