Responsibilities
Engineering Applications Development: Lead and contribute to the development and enhancement of ABS engineering applications within the Digital Class framework, focusing on improving functionality and innovation.
Project Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering applications projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets while collaborating across Engineering, Technology, and IT departments.
Client Support and Feedback: Collect user feedback, analyze client needs, and track industry trends to propose new features and solutions for continuous improvement of engineering applications. Maintain positive client relationships and provide expert advice as needed.

Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent professional/chartered engineer license.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering or software development within marine, offshore, or related industries.
Proficiency in engineering analysis, particularly in structural analysis and finite element methods.
Familiarity with marine and offshore regulations and their application in engineering practices.
Understanding of software development and IT technologies, with preference for experience in engineering software development.
Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written.
Ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively for efficient project scheduling.
Interest in data, digital systems, and software analytics; coding experience is advantageous.
Preferred
Previous experience or knowledge in coding languages.
Understanding of ABS Rules, Guides, and statutory regulations.
Excellent interpersonal skills for maintaining positive client and peer relationships.
Engineering background is a plus
